Renovare at Westmont (again!)
Renovare Music was back at Westmont College last week for our third trip as guest chapel speakers! This was, however, our first trip as a string trio, which was such a joy. Not only did we have the pleasure of speaking in chapel, we also performed a couple concerts and gave a special presentation to the Westmont Music Department.
It was great to be back on campus sharing about the ways art and music play a role in how we are called to live our lives as Jesus followers. Our talk references a beautiful essay called, “Art,” by Frederick Buechner and goes back and forth between sharing stories and sharing music.
