MissionSmith: Songs from the Neighborhood

  • W. 58th Street Church of God 3150 West 58th Street Cleveland, OH, 44102 United States (map)

We’re expanding and reprising this experience from last fall! Join Building Hope in the City and Renovare Music for a powerful afternoon of experiential learning. You'll hear compelling stories from residents of the Clark-Fulton, Brooklyn Centre, and Stockyards neighborhoods through a combination of instrumental music, narratives, and original Documentary Songs. This hour-long performance will be followed by refreshments and a time to reflect, discuss, and respond to the testimonies we have heard as we get to know and learn to love our neighbors better. Join us as we seek to see more clearly the beauty and brokenness of our neighborhoods.

Please RSVP here so we have ample refreshments for everyone.

What is a MissionSmith?

These free events are designed to:

  • Forge sharper ideas and insights for mission

  • Increase our awareness about the challenges faced by some communities throughout our city

  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment to ask questions, discuss, and learn about real issues that are often avoided

  • Offer practical opportunities to become more activated in drawing closer, helping, and learning form the pain of others

  • Connect with others interested in seeking God's heart for the city and being a part of transformation

You will walk away challenged personally and spiritually for deeper Kingdom advancement.
